Entry 41/365

‘Leave all else to the gods.’

My husband's grandmother died today. She was 96 years old.

His dad left his Mum for 10 minutes when he returned she wasn't there anymore. It never ceases to amaze me how easily we can die.

It makes me want to live. It makes me feel grateful for being alive. Our lives hang by a thread, a thin thread, what a waste of time is to think we have any control over it.

It's been a long week and a long day.
