Entry 63/365
Classical Latin used diurnus for "of the day, by day," and also as a noun, "account-book, day-book."
For as long as I can remember I always want to start a year diary in March. It happens every year since I was about 15. In January, I am convinced I don't need one then in March, I start with my paper frenzy which goes until the end of April.
If these pages should reflect the truth of who I am and what I am doing then there you have it. I am an adult woman embroiled in a life-changing decision on whether I get a Moleskine in March or a Leuchturn (whatever it is the spelling) so I can start a sort of Logbook.
It's an idea I really like, to keep track of my days because year in and out things seem to repeat themselves and I lose it, I don't want to lose these moments anymore. Therefore, I will get one and start where I am. Perhaps a blank page one. I don't bloody know.
I will get them all and work through them because there isn't a time I feel more myself than when I have books, pens, and paper around me.
Amem. Touche.
