An experiment

Vetare.

Entry 39/365

An eloquent way to say NO.

from Latin veto, literally "I forbid," first person singular present indicative of vetare "forbid, prohibit, oppose, hinder," of unknown origin. In ancient Rome, the "technical term for protest interposed by a tribune of the people against any measure of the Senate or of the magistrates"

I veto my desire to criticize my insufficient/less-than-perfect (aka half-assed) exercise routine today.

Veto.

I did what I wanted not what I could - that is the plain truth.

Twenty minutes of exercise after 1.5 hours of a tantrum over "wanting to move to a new school, to try something new" AND I kept my cool, AND did not lose my mind - or rather with a few odd moments of almost going bonkers.... So exercising after all this mental workout is like literally running a marathon.

With that, I VETO any criticism whatsoever of my epic workout and exhausted I move to bed.

Good night.
