An experiment

Rīdēre.

 Entry 51/365

I laugh.

From Latin rīdēre, present active infinitive of rīdeō (“I laugh”).

My son has a great sense of humour. He always had, he laughs at everything. He makes up words, Peugout became Peegot. He makes things lighter and he has his own ways of reminding me he is 7 years old, growing slowly but surely.

I wish he knew how much I want to do things right. How much I want him to thrive. I know I keep saying this but the more I say it the more I will let this go.

He reminds me to laugh.
To giggle.
To be silly.
To relax.
He reminds me that the Sun shines even behind clouds.
