Quietare.

 Entry 34/365

Shhhh...

From Latin quietare, "calm, at rest, free from exertion," from quies (genitive quietis) "rest" (from PIE root *kweie- "to rest, be quiet").

Quiet the mind and the soul will speak.

Someone said this and it got stuck in my head. I didn't have anything to write today, usually by the time my daughter is asleep I find a word that expresses what has been of my day, or I don't know something meaningful to me.

Today, that word did not come. Nor it is on the way it seems, as I am struggling to type another word after the one that just passed.

So, I take that the Universe needs me to remain quiet. Quietness is a conversation.

I will read a book, not the one I chose for this text up above, I chose the picture for no reason other than I love it. Sometimes, silence is what we need and today is what I am going to get.

Good night, and good Friday.

Giselle
